Repair Care is the complete system for the repair and refurbishment of decayed or damaged timber. Offering a wide range of quality products including epoxy resins and glazing sealants.
Using the tried and tested methodology of timber inserts, splicing and whole cill replacements, together with modern epoxy resins, Repair Care offers unrivalled Total Joinery Repair Solutions.
Unlike traditional powder fillers or "two-pack" rigid polyester fillers, which are brittle and often shrink once dry, Repair Care epoxy resins set hard to the touch but remain flexible. As the host timber expands and contracts with the seasons, the epoxy resin repair flexes to accommodate seasonal movement.
Not only on exterior timber joinery such as: -
Doors ~ Windows ~ Soffits ~ Fascias ~ Finials ~ Bargeboards ~ Cladding ~ Porches ~ Glasshouses ~ Orangeries & Conservatories.
But also on materials other than timber, including masonry, plaster, concrete and metal. Oil based pigments can be added to Repair Care epoxy resins to aid colour matching on unpainted surfaces.
Repair Care products have long been associated with high quality exterior joinery repairs, but are equally effective for repairing interior joinery such as internal doors, staircases, skirtings, architraves and other decorative mouldings.
Absolutely.
Repair Care solutions are widely used in the restoration of listed properties and historic buildings, but are also eminently suitable for use on properties of all ages and styles. Preserve the character and uniqueness of your home by maintaining its original features.
Preventative Repairs include: -

In-situ repair costs are typically in the hundreds of pounds, whereas replacement costs can be in the thousands of pounds. Localised repairs are far less disruptive than whole replacements, requiring less making good and redecoration of the surrounding area.
Repairing instead of replacing is more environmentally friendly. Research shows, that on average, 95% of a frame with wood rot damage is still in good condition and doesn't need to be thrown away.
uPVC frames require eight times more energy to produce than an equivalent timber frame; PVC as a material is barely recyclable and contains substances that are very harmful to the environment when incinerated.
